What could you achieve if you stepped out of your comfort zone, actually worked on those exciting ideas you have and go all in for 5 years?
In essence this is the idea behind SeeYouIn5.
A collection of my thoughts, my progress and pretty much anything I feel like sharing. I have no idea how this will pan out or what it will look like.
Im not even sure if a blog is the right platform for this idea but I guess it is in the spirit of SeeYouIn5, which is just making a start. Maybe its not the right start but with time things will evolve in whichever way they need to.
‘We know that we want more, a life worth fighting for
Considering you are reading this you are probably like me, in the way that you make a habit of reading blogs/books/articles on how to be successful. I always love watching interviews or reading books where the multi-millionaire or somebody successful in their field tells you their life story of how they went from rags to riches. Walking you through all the battles they had to face, hard decisions they had to make and how they felt when they started to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Don’t look ahead there’s stormy weather, another road block in our way,
But if we go we go together,
Our hands are tied here if we stay.’ Santigold: Disparate Youth
But wouldn’t it be cool if you could actually follow somebody’s journey whilst it happens? The ups and the many downs. Maybe it could start a SeeYouIn5 community who regularly read the blogs and take part in helpful discussions about the topics raised. A global community of people going all in for 5 years chasing their dreams and being there for each other along the way. Ok I’m getting ahead of myself with that part of my vision. I believe a relationship where both parties benefit is important. For me the blog will create a sense of accountability from my side in terms of my goals. I also like the idea of using myself as some sort of life experiment. Whatever is left of my life will pan out some kind of way, that is a definite. So the only question is will I make things happen or will I let it happen to me?
I guess we’ll find out.
